A net violation, block and service ace against Penn State subdued the crowd at Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions actually struggled to side out, and a 13th-ranked Minnesota team they already swept rattled the unbeaten Lions, setter Alisha Glass said.
Nicole Fawcett and her teammates always say they don't focus on records and statistics, and while this weekend was no different, it was for a different reason.

Nicole Fawcett led all hitters with 12 kills and swung at a .292 hitting percentage -- better than anybody on Minnesota -- yet still was supposed to be subbed out with the score close in the third set. Updated 12:22 PM
