Seniors, alumni gather at Hintz for sendoff

For Jen O'Neill, Lauren Subosits, Lindsay Adams and Lindsey Earle, whose friendship began four years ago at Penn State, Wednesday was bittersweet. The four seniors sat squished on a bench outside of the Hintz Family Alumni Center, sharing pizza and still unable to grasp that the word "alumnae" will soon apply to them.

Penn State field hockey coach Char Morett knows teamwork will be the key to a succesfull season next fall. Last season, Morett dealt with a divided team and as a result, she has her team practicing communication more than ever. In their scrimmage against Bucknell, the Lions seemed to respond well to Morett as they cruised to a 4-0 victory.
