The University will pay $600,000 a year in a settlement approved by the Centre County Board of Commisioners Tuesday. Four years ago Dorothy Barnes was watching TV and heard about the problems plaguing the public education system. Since her children were grown and she was looking for a way to use her free time, she decided to do something to help solve those problems. A new, improved Weekend Loop service will soon be available for students who want to travel from the dorms to the fraternity district.
