With hyperinflation in the Commonwealth of Independent States, it is becoming more obvious that the road from socialism to a free-market economy will be long -- and maybe dangerous.
 
One year after the beginning of the Persian Gulf War, the American people are left with failed expectations and questions about the moral fiber of international politics.

Women's Basketball Coach Rene Portland is happy to be seeing some familiar faces now that her 10-4 squad has returned to State College for a four-game homestand.
 
The legacy of the men's volleyball team since 1981 reads like this: seven NCAA Final Four appearances, one second-place finish, four third-place finishes and one fourth-place finish.
 
Dipping their feet into the Big Ten, the women's track team captured a season-opening victory over Ohio State 59-54 last Saturday. Now the Lady Lions are looking to continue full steam ahead into the new division.
