The Fifth Annual Penn State Juggling Festival last weekend involved an array of acts from juggling to contortionism.
 
Undergraduate Student Government President J.P. Muir and Vice President Susie Williams said they will lobby state legislators during the next week to highlight the University's funding needs.

Women arrested by Centre County police agencies are being housed in the new Clinton County Jail because Centre County does not have an adequate facility.

SPORTS
 
The Penn State Cycling Club took a decisive victory in the team's meet Saturday at Bloomsburg. Chuck Bednarczyk and Dave McComas lapped the pack and took first and second, respectively. McComas said Bednarczyk looked particularly strong, that he "he took off from the start and killed the field."
 
A semester of misfortune has continued for the Penn State Soaring Club, as violent winds destroyed two of the club's sailplanes early Thursday morning. The club had already suffered the setback of losing its flying base when Ridge Soaring Gliderport closed earlier in the year. In addition, a gliderport employee and close friend of many club members committed suicide about two weeks ago.
 
The men's tennis team went on the road with high hopes and returned with its aspirations fulfilled, upsetting Boston College 6-3 and competing well but losing 5-3 to Harvard.
 
Despite inclement weather, two Lady Lions provisionally qualified Friday and Saturday at the Raleigh Relays for NCAA Outdoor Championships and 14 qualified for the ECAC Outdoor Championships.
 
Susan Robinson is the type of player who won't make a big deal out of anything she does on the basketball court.
 
The baseball team completed a four game set with West Virginia by dropping both ends of a doubleheader, 9-5 and 5-4.
 
All season, the men's volleyball team has stressed that it must play well in April and May.
 
With victories over Boston University and Cornell over the weekend, the women's tennis team regained its winning momentum and improved to 17-4.
